[Letter sent to all registered parishioners for annual stewardship campaign.]
April 30, 2008 Dear Fellow Parishioners, In February we celebrated the burning of our worship space mortgage which would not have been possible without your continued support. Even though we are debt free at this time, we ask for your continued support in order to properly maintain all of our facilities, some of which are now over ten years old. We have begun with the projects needed on our facilities to keep them in good shape and up to date with technology such as our garden in the narthex, baptismal font and outside security camera system. There are many more maintenance projects and wish list items that are needed here at St Philip. As we are planning for the new fiscal year which begins in July, we ask you once again to “continue doing what you have been doing” and maintain the same total contribution amount that you have so generously and faithfully been giving. Those who have done that this past year will soon see their name on a brick in The Prayer Garden. We have enclosed this year’s pledge card and ask that you commit to our day to day operation of the parish and its many ministries as well as the maintenance and preservation of our buildings. Please complete the card and return it by the end of May so that we can complete our budget for the fiscal year of July 2008 - June 2009. Alleluia- finally only one card! If you gave by credit card this last year, we have partially completed the card for your convenience. If you want to continue at the same amount all you need to do is sign it and return.
