Community Life Group Ministries

These ministries organize activities for the parish to promote family, fun and fellowship.

COMMITTEE ON CATHOLIC SCOUTING Promote and guide the religious emblems programs available to those in Boy Scouts of America, the Girl Scouts of America, Camp Fire, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and American Heritage Girls. Contact Tom Moore, 972-539-0257.

GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER? Be a Host (provide the main course, beverages and your home) or Guest (bring a side dish recommended by the host) at one of many homes in the parish on the first Saturday of each month, October through April. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 9884 A Catholic, fraternal, family, service organization. Meets first Thursday of month. Monthly Pancake Breakfasts, casino nights, blood drive, and other projects for the parish and community. Contact Joe D. Walker, 214-222-2819.

LADY KNIGHTS Wives of KofC Council 9884 members, supporting the Knights and their functions and many parish events. Contact Pat Miller, 972-539-7364.

Men’s Club An organization for parish men to socialize, share experiences, do good works, and become active members of the parish. Many annual events; monthly meetings. Contact W.J. Mildfelt, 972-436-7135.

Single/Divorced/Separated/WidowED Group Members support each other as single Catholics by providing social and service opportunities, and sharing similar values and experiences common to each group. Contact Tammi Dean, 972-317-2484.

Spice of Life Ministry of support for those young-at-heart yet over age 50, where they can share experiences, socialize, do good works, and be more active members of the community. Meets every Friday, Noon to 4 pm, in the Community Life Center for socializing and card playing. Contact Charlotte Nannemann, 972-221-9461.

WOMEN'S CLUB Unites women and families in social, spiritual, educational, and service activities for the welfare of St. Philip's women, their families, the parish, and the community-at-large; monthly meetings. Contact Sandy Dubek, 972-539-4148.
